Terms of Use

By accessing or using the EcoRah platform — whether as a visitor, registered Traveller, or Host — you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use the platform.

EcoRah reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We will notify registered users of material changes by email.

You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account, make a booking, or list a property on EcoRah.

EcoRah provides an online booking and discovery service to its member travellers and host community, connecting guests with independent Hosts offering eco-stays, retreats, farm stays, and cultural experiences across India. EcoRah is not itself a travel agent, tour operator, or accommodation provider.

The contract for accommodation or experience is formed directly between the Traveller and the Host. EcoRah facilitates the booking and payment process but is not a party to the accommodation agreement.

EcoRah does not own, manage, or operate any of the properties listed on the platform. Hosts are solely responsible for the accuracy of their listings, the quality of their accommodation, and compliance with all applicable local laws and regulations.

To make a booking or list a property, you must create an account on EcoRah. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your account information updated.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect any unauthorised use of your account.

EcoRah reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or misuse the platform.

Cancellation and refund policies vary by property and are specified on each listing page. Travellers are responsible for reviewing the cancellation policy before completing a booking.

To request a cancellation, Travellers must contact EcoRah at [email protected] with their booking reference. Refunds, where applicable, will be processed to the original payment method within 7–10 business days, subject to the applicable cancellation policy.

EcoRah reserves the right to cancel a booking in exceptional circumstances (such as force majeure, property unavailability, or Host default). In such cases, a full refund will be issued to the Traveller.

No-shows (failure to arrive without prior cancellation) are generally non-refundable unless the Host's cancellation policy provides otherwise.

Cancellations 7+ Days Before Retreat: Cancellations made 7 days or more before the retreat start date are eligible for a refund after deducting any applicable payment gateway or processing charges.

Cancellations Less Than 7 Days Before Retreat: Cancellations made less than 7 days before the retreat start date will incur a 35% cancellation charge on the total booking amount. The remaining eligible balance will be refunded.

No Show: If the guest fails to arrive (No Show), no refund will be provided.

Refund Processing: Any approved refund will be processed to the original payment method within the standard processing period.

Cancellations 7+ Days Before Check-in: Cancellations made 7 days or more before the check-in date are eligible for a refund after deducting any applicable payment gateway or processing charges.

Cancellations Less Than 7 Days Before Check-in: Cancellations made less than 7 days before check-in will incur a 10% processing fee on the booking amount.

Cancellations Less Than 3 Days Before Check-in: Cancellations made less than 3 days before check-in will incur a 15% processing fee on the booking amount.

No Show: No refund will be provided for No Shows.

Refund Processing: Any approved refund will be processed to the original payment method within the standard processing period.

All content on the EcoRah platform — including the EcoRah name, logo, website design, text, graphics, and software — is the intellectual property of EcoRah Hospitality Marketing and is protected under applicable Indian intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any EcoRah content without our prior written consent.

Hosts retain ownership of the photographs and content they upload to the platform. By uploading content, Hosts grant EcoRah a royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to use, display, and promote that content on the platform and in related marketing materials.

EcoRah acts as a booking and marketing intermediary and is not liable for the quality, safety, legality, or suitability of any property or experience listed on the platform. All disputes regarding the quality of accommodation or experiences are between the Traveller and the Host.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, EcoRah shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to loss of bookings, loss of revenue, or personal injury during a stay.

EcoRah's total liability to any user for any claim arising from use of the platform shall not exceed the total amount paid by that user for the specific booking giving rise to the claim.

These Terms of Use are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.
