Permita Gogoi is the Founder & Director of EcoRah Marketing LLP. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Arts with Mathematics from the University of Delhi and a Master's degree in Tourism Management from IGNOU.
She has extensive experience in hospitality sales, marketing, revenue management, and distribution strategy, with a strong focus on building sustainable hospitality businesses and creating authentic travel experiences.
Her journey in community development through hospitality is driven by a vision to strengthen local tourism ecosystems by empowering homestay owners, boutique properties, eco-lodges, farm stays, and tourism entrepreneurs through collaboration, responsible tourism, and sustainable business practices.
Through EcoRah Marketing LLP, she established the EcoRah Community with the vision of promoting sustainable and mindful hospitality across India — particularly in the North-East, Himalayan regions, rural landscapes, tea garden destinations, wildlife regions, heritage towns, desert destinations, and tribal communities.
